We don't manufacture materials, we grow them. Using nature's technology, we transform agricultural waste into high-performance acoustic panels.

Each square meter of Taftirium panels sequesters approximately 12 kg of CO₂ during the mycelium growth phase. Our carbon-negative process actively removes greenhouse gases from the atmosphere while creating high-performance building materials.
Our production follows circular economy principles from start to finish. Agricultural waste becomes premium acoustic panels, which at end of life return to the earth as compost. Nothing is wasted, nothing is toxic, and everything serves a purpose.
Manufactured locally in Israel, reducing transportation emissions and supporting sustainable innovation.
Our panels are 100% biodegradable. When their useful life ends (typically 10-20 years), they can be composted in industrial composting facilities, returning nutrients to the earth. Unlike synthetic acoustic materials that persist in landfills for centuries, our panels complete a natural cycle.

Get Custom QuoteIn just 3-7 days, agricultural waste becomes high-performance acoustic panels through the natural binding power of mycelium.

We partner with local farms to collect agricultural by-products—straw, hemp hurds, and other plant-based waste that would otherwise be burned or sent to landfill. This creates value from waste while supporting farming communities.
The agricultural waste is cleaned, sized, and sterilized to create the perfect growing medium for mycelium. This careful preparation ensures consistent quality and optimal growing conditions for every batch.
Specially selected mycelium cultures are introduced to the prepared substrate. Within hours, the mycelium begins colonizing the material, sending out thread-like hyphae that bind the substrate particles together.

The inoculated substrate is placed in custom molds and grown at room temperature. Over 5-7 days, the mycelium network fully colonizes the substrate, creating a solid, cohesive material with unique natural textures.
Panels are dried at 70°C using renewable energy, halting mycelium growth while enhancing fire resistance and locking in acoustic properties. This creates a stable, durable building material.

Each panel undergoes rigorous quality testing for acoustic performance, fire resistance, and structural integrity. Optional earth-tone coatings are applied using VOC-free finishes.
Result: High-performance acoustic panels grown from nature, ready to transform your space in approximately one week.
Our production process actively removes CO₂ from the atmosphere. Each panel sequesters more carbon than is emitted during its entire production lifecycle.
Completely free of volatile organic compounds, formaldehyde, and synthetic chemicals. Safe for indoor air quality in sensitive environments.
Transforms agricultural by-products into premium building materials, diverting waste from landfills and creating value from materials that would otherwise be burned.
Mycelium grows at room temperature, requiring minimal energy. Heat treatment uses renewable energy sources, keeping our carbon footprint minimal.
At end of life, panels can be composted, returning nutrients to the soil. No microplastics, no toxic residue, no landfill burden.
Raw materials sourced from local Israeli farms, reducing transport emissions and supporting agricultural communities.
Mycelium cultivation requires minimal water compared to traditional manufacturing processes. Our closed-loop system recycles water wherever possible.
Heat-treated mycelium achieves fire safety certification without chemical flame retardants, maintaining both safety and environmental integrity.

All Taftirium panels are grown and finished in Israel, reducing shipping emissions while supporting local sustainable innovation and industrial sustainability.
