Growing the Future

Sustainability at Our Core

We don't manufacture materials—we grow them. Using nature's technology, we transform agricultural waste into high-performance acoustic panels.

Each square meter of Taftirium panels removes 12 kg of CO₂ through upcycling of agricultural waste. By transforming waste streams into functional materials, we actively reduce carbon footprint while creating beautiful, sustainable products.

Circular Economy Alignment

Fully aligned with circular economy and green building standards. Our panels are made from agricultural by-products that would otherwise be discarded, creating a closed-loop system that eliminates waste.

  • Upcycles agricultural waste into high-value products
  • Zero waste production process
  • Supports regenerative agriculture

Our Process

How We Grow Our Panels

In just 3-7 days, agricultural waste becomes high-performance acoustic panels through the natural binding power of mycelium.

1

Agricultural Waste

We source agricultural by-products and waste streams that would otherwise be discarded or burned. These natural fibers provide the substrate for mycelium growth.

2

Mycelium Inoculation

Living mycelium (fungal root structure) is added to the prepared agricultural substrate. This natural organism will bind the fibers together as it grows.

3
3-7 days

Growth in Mold

The mycelium-substrate mixture is placed in custom molds for a few days. As the mycelium grows, it creates a strong, coherent structure that takes the shape of the mold.

4

Finished Acoustic Panels

After the growth period, the mycelium material is heat-treated to stop growth, dried, and finished into durable acoustic panels. Each panel is unique, carrying the natural patterns of mycelium growth.

Result: High-performance acoustic panels grown from nature, ready to transform your space in approximately one week.

Sustainable by Design

VOC-Free & Safe for Indoor Use

100% aldehyde-free and VOC-free materials ensure healthy indoor air quality. Safe for homes, schools, and healthcare settings.

Made from Mycelium & Agricultural By-Products

Upcycled agricultural waste combined with living mycelium creates a fully natural, renewable material. No synthetic compounds or petroleum-based products.

Naturally Fire-Resistant

Tested to Israeli Standard 1045 for fire resistance. Meets core safety requirements without chemical flame retardants.

Natural Growth Creates Unique Patterns

The mycelium growth process creates organic variations in color, texture, and form. Each panel is one-of-a-kind, carrying the life imprint of a different mycelium organism.

Acoustic & Thermal Insulation in One Product

Dual functionality reduces material needs. Sound absorption (NRC 0.50-0.70) and thermal insulation (λ ~0.03-0.04 W/m·K) in a single natural material.

Lightweight & Easy to Install

At approximately 8 kg/sqm, panels are easy to handle and install. Reduces structural load and installation labor costs.

Resistant to Mold and Pests

Despite being organic, the finished material is naturally resistant to mold growth and pest infestation, ensuring long-lasting durability.

Available in Natural Textures or Eco-Paints

Natural off-white finish showcases the material's authenticity, or choose from earth-tone eco-paint finishes to match your design vision.
